SOCCERFEST REGISTRATION THRU 11/7/25

Soccerfest is a one-day event on Saturday, November 22, 2025 open to all US Soccer affiliated U7-U12 recreational teams in the Cal North District 6 region. Teams will be placed in groups (based on their records during the fall season) of 4-6 teams from leagues across the district and meet at the home field of one of the Cal North teams in the group to play 3-4 partial games (equivalent of up to 2 full games). Cost is $50/team for Cal North registered teams and $60/non-Cal North registered teams. Team registration includes an award for each player. The deadline to register is Nov 7, 2025 and schedules will be posted Nov 15. Soccerfest is meant to be a fun, no-stress way of wrapping up your season.  

Event format:
U7/8 Boys = 4v4 and/or 5v5

U7/8 Girls = 4v4 and/or 5v5
U9/10 Boys = 7v7
U9/10 Girls = 7v7

U11/12 Boys = 9v9
U11/12 Girls = 9v9

RCYSL AQI Policy

GAMES 

U6-U14:  RCYSL will cancel U6-U14 game(s) at or above 150 AQI per the IQAir app starting 2p.m. the preceding day using the app's projection for the general time of game start (morning, afternoon, evening)

Fields may close due to AQI; RCYSL and clubs will advise of closures and games affected ASAP

U16 & U19:  AQI cancellations are decided by CPL

PRACTICES

Each club may set its own AQI policies for practices; clubs must follow field closures from the permitting entity


The Cal North Concussion Procedures and Protocol document (as revised for RCYSL) has been installed in 'Downloads'.  Coaches, Referees and Parents should all review this document as it requires a specific protocol to be followed if concussion injury is suspected.  The Cal North Concussion Notification form is also available in 'Downloads' as is the revised Referee's Send-Off Report form that now includes a check-off box to indicate the occurrence a possible concussion.


League Board Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 7:00pm, held at Mountain Mike's Pizza, 1319 Fulton Ave, Sacramento.  The meetings are open to all players' families.
